Salvatore Dellaria (b.1979) / Adam Sonderberg (b.1978) have been collaborating since 1998. their first works (signal hill and 64 squares) were produced while attending university.

in 2003 they founded, and co-direct the dropp ensemble (pronounced drope - swedish for 'drip feed') which consists of an international grouping of musicians and technicians that work together through mail-based data transfer. the materials are pooled, and undergo extensive editing and processing by the duo.

preferring to focus on recording and production, the two have only given a handful of live presentations in their nearly decade-long partnership. dellaria/sonderberg have been published by numerous labels both under their own name(s) and as the dropp ensemble.

both live and work in chicago, usa.
